From Champdepraz to Covarey
Silou Retreat is situated in Covarey, at approximately 1,300 metres above sea level, in the very heart of Mont Avic Natural Park. It’s about 8km from the small municipality of Champdepraz and about an hour from Aosta, the regional capital.
You can reach Silou Retreat bycar, driving along a scenic asphalted mountain road that starts in Champdepraz and winds its way to the hotel. You can then use our car park for the whole duration of your stay.
To reach Champdepraz, follow the A5 motorway, exit at Verrès or Pont Saint Martin, and continue on the SS26 state road towards Aosta.
For active guests
Day guests can also reach our hotel on foot or by bike, enjoying a leisurely hike along the stunning Chalamy canyon. As a reward for your efforts, you can make a stop at our Bistrot and indulge in local specialities, charcuterie and cheese boards, sandwiches and salads, or enjoy a refreshing drink on our sunny terrace.
